Learn Calq: a building from A to Z / Part 9 Drawings and sheets
The sheet, the title block and the set
Compose a sheet by hand, edit its ISO 7200 title block, and print the drawing set as a PDF.
You will put the open views on a new sheet, open its title block in the editor and print the whole drawing set.
ISO 7200 sets the fields of a title block: the legal owner, the identification number, the title, the sheet, the revision, the date of issue, the scale, who created and approved it, the document type and its status. The identification number is the ISO 19650 name of the sheet (Part 1, Name the information).
01A sheet by hand
With the plan, the 3D view and the door schedule open, choose New sheet (A3 landscape titleblock) in the views finder. Sheet A-901 opens and suggests where each open view goes (the plan at the largest scale that fits, the schedule by the title block); press Take all 3 to place them.
Any view goes on paper: drag it from the list of views onto the sheet. A view placed keeps its own scale.
02The title block
Open Properties with nothing selected: under The sheet, the title block is ISO 7200. Press Edit: the editor draws the block at its size, each field a box. Drag an item to move it, its corner to size it; Add puts in a field, text, a line, a box, a logo, a stamp area or the revision history.
A block changed is kept with the project under its own name, and the office's blocks can be taken into every model.
03The drawing set
Open Present and choose Drawing set: every plan, elevation and section of the house on a sheet of its own, each in the title block with its number, its title, its scale and the date.
04Print it as a PDF
Press PDF: the browser's own print dialog opens with every sheet on its paper; choose Save as PDF. It runs in your browser, on a free account.
Share, beside it, gives the presentation a link once the model is saved to your account.
