What it is
Calq AI works inside the model, not beside it. It uses the tools a person uses on the board: walls, rooms, storeys, openings, roofs, stairs, sheets and checks. Every action it takes is an ordinary edit, drawn by the same engines as everything else, visible on the board and reversible with undo.
You can draw and ask in the same session: draw a wall, ask it to finish the storey, then change by hand what it laid.
How a job goes
- The project is set up first: what is being made, the storeys, the grid, the brief and what done means. A question that would change the outcome is asked one at a time, or you let it choose.
- For a building, massing options come first: you choose one, move it, or ask for others
- Then the design is laid in the massing you chose, every room linked to its line of the brief
- What it makes (sheets, schedules, reports, files) is listed on the board for you to open
What you can give it
Write in English or French and attach what you have: a brief, a sketch, a plan, a PDF drawing, a spreadsheet or a model. A drawing is read from its own lines and figures, and anything it had to assume is said.
Where it stops
Calq AI is Beta: it makes a first design to work from, and it is still being proven on each type of building. Check what it builds before you rely on it. It is on the paid plans, and the first building is free on the free account. Your projects are not used to train AI models.

Is Calq AI a chatbot beside the model?
No. It edits the model itself, with the tools a person uses, and every change can be undone.
Can I use my own AI assistant instead?
Yes. ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP assistant can connect to your Calq account and use Calq's tools with its own AI.
Which AI model does Calq AI run on?
Calq chooses it and may change it; the tools it uses on the model are the same.
